Create your first wishlist

Set up a wishlist for any occasion in a couple of minutes.

  1. 1Sign up for free, or sign in.
  2. 2From your dashboard, start a new wishlist.
  3. 3Give it a title, pick the occasion, and choose who can see it.
  4. 4Choose a cover image, then select Create Wishlist.
Beginner

Add items to your wishlist

Tell your friends exactly what you want.

  1. 1Open your wishlist and select Edit.
  2. 2Enter the item's name. It is the only required field.
  3. 3Add one or more product links from any store.
  4. 4Add an image: search for one, upload your own, or paste an image link.
  5. 5Set the price, quantity and priority, then select Add Item.
Beginner

Share your wishlist

Choose who can see it, then send the link.

  1. 1Open your wishlist and select Share.
  2. 2Choose Public, Link Only or Private.
  3. 3Copy the link and send it by WhatsApp, SMS, email or social media.
  4. 4Anyone with the link can view a public or link-only wishlist without an account.
For guests

Gift an item

Claim an item before you buy it so nobody doubles up.

  1. 1Open the wishlist link. You need a free GishFy account to gift.
  2. 2Tap Gift on the item you want to give.
  3. 3Add a personal message if you like, and choose to gift anonymously if you would rather your name stays hidden.
  4. 4Select Confirm Gift. The item is now yours to give and nobody else can gift it.
Intermediate

Start a group gift

Chip in together on something bigger.

  1. 1Open a wishlist and find an item nobody has gifted yet.
  2. 2Select Start Group Gift, add a title, and set the target amount (it starts from the item's price).
  3. 3Others add what they are contributing, and can choose to stay anonymous.
  4. 4GishFy tracks progress toward the target. It only records pledges, so arrange the payment with the group outside the app.
Intermediate

Share your address safely

Only the person sending your gift sees it, and only if you approve.

  1. 1A friend who has gifted you an item can select Request Address.
  2. 2You will see the request under Address Requests in your dashboard.
  3. 3Approve or decline it. If you approve, the gifter can see your address for a limited time.
  4. 4You can revoke access again from the same page.
