White Friday Wishlist for the UAE: Know What to Buy Before the Sale Starts (2026)

White Friday is the Gulf's answer to Black Friday. Amazon.ae, Noon, Namshi, Sharaf DG and most big UAE retailers cut prices at the end of November, and the best deals sell out in hours.

The people who do well are the ones who already know what they want. GishFy lets you save it all in one list now, with the normal price in AED, so on sale day you just check and buy. Share the list and family can grab your gifts at the sale price too.

Why a White Friday list saves you money

White Friday started in 2014 on Souq.com, which chose "white" to avoid putting a negative word in front of Friday, the holiest day of the week in Islam. When Amazon bought Souq and became Amazon.ae, it kept White Friday. Noon calls its version Yellow Friday, and Namshi, Centrepoint, Sharaf DG and many malls run their own sales the same week. In practice, the whole UAE goes on sale at the end of November.

That's a lot of noise. Every app sends banners, countdowns and "only 3 left" warnings, and it's easy to buy things you didn't need while the thing you actually wanted sells out. A list made in advance keeps you focused: you know the item, the store and the normal price, so you can tell straight away whether a "deal" is really a deal.

Writing the normal price down matters more than it sounds. Some sale prices are barely lower than an ordinary week, and some "was" prices are inflated. If your list says the earbuds were AED 599 in October and the sale price is AED 399, you know it's a real saving.

White Friday is also a good moment for gifts. National Day is on 2 December, Christmas and New Year follow, and many families in the UAE buy their year-end presents at sale prices. Share your list and relatives can buy from it during the sale, marking each item as they go so nobody buys the same thing twice.

Tips for shopping White Friday in the UAE

Start your list in October

Add things as you notice them. By the time the sales begin in late November, you'll have a short, considered list instead of a panic basket. Many UAE sales now start days before the Friday itself, so be ready early.

Write down the normal price

Record the price you see before the sale in AED. On the day, it takes seconds to see whether the discount is real or just a bigger red label.

Compare the same item across stores

The same pair of headphones can be on Amazon.ae, Noon and Sharaf DG at different prices. Keep one list item per product and add a note if you spot it cheaper elsewhere.

Check who the seller is

On marketplaces, look for items sold or fulfilled by the retailer itself. They usually deliver faster and returns are simpler if something goes wrong.

Share gift items with family

If relatives ask what you'd like for National Day or the holidays, send the list. They can buy at the sale price and mark items as gifted, so you won't get the same thing twice.

Frequently asked questions

Still unsure? These are the questions we hear most.

What is White Friday?

White Friday is the name used in the UAE and the wider Gulf for Black Friday sales. It started on Souq.com in 2014 and continues on Amazon.ae. Noon calls its sale Yellow Friday, and many other stores simply run Black Friday or Friday sale offers the same week.

When is White Friday 2026 in the UAE?

White Friday lines up with Black Friday, which falls on 27 November 2026. Most UAE retailers run their offers across several days that week, and some start earlier in November. Check each store's app for exact dates.

Which UAE stores have White Friday deals?

Amazon.ae and Noon run the biggest sales. Namshi, Sharaf DG, Ounass, Centrepoint, Mumzworld, IKEA UAE and many mall brands usually join in with their own offers.

How does a wishlist help with White Friday?

It keeps the things you actually want, with their links and normal prices, in one place. When the sale starts you can check each one quickly instead of scrolling through thousands of deals.

Can I add items from Amazon.ae, Noon and Namshi to the same list?

Yes. GishFy works with links from any online store, so one list can hold items from Amazon.ae, Noon, Namshi, Sharaf DG, IKEA UAE or any small local shop.

Can family buy gifts from my White Friday list?

Yes. Share the link on WhatsApp or by email. Family can open it without an account, and when they sign in to mark an item as gifted, nobody else can buy the same one.

Is GishFy free?

Yes. Making lists, adding items and sharing them is free.

Be ready before the countdown starts
